Bowlstock is a skateboard and music event held in Highvalley Skateworld in Högdalen, Stockholm in 2017, 18-20th of August, The event is arranged by skaters for skaters, and the purpose is to make Bowlstock a yearly event, bringing some of the best skateboarders and musical artists (related to, the skate culture) to Stockholm.
Bowlstock has grown rapidly in it’s second year from a one day event (2015), to a 2-day event in 2016. Schedule was; Fri: Betongcupen Females/Juniors/Pro Am qualifications, Freestyle Qualifications. Bands: DOKA, Solna Social Distorsion, Kitok.
• Saturday, The BIG day:
• BetongCupen Heats and Finals, for all classes (Pro/Am, Juniors, Females).
• Eurocana Legends Sessions: Masters (+45) battle it out in the bowls.
• Legendary bands and Artists played between heats in a huge Best Trick Jam Session. (SST, Slam, Teddybears)
• Stockholm Freestyle: International competitions.
• World Championship in Banked Slalom pt.1
• Sponsors; Stockholms Stad are helping us partnering with Betongcupen, Veidekke Fastigheter are giving us a substantial sum. Marshall are helping us with the musical part with getting bands, plus bringing their awesome sound stage. Skateprylar.se pitched in with some money. We have one sponsor who have not yet paid, (October 8) but who are credited as a one of the four paying sponsors.
